The Occupational Therapy (OT) Daily Treatment Notes have been expanded with new CPT codes and enhancements to existing documentation forms.
With this update:
• The following Occupational Therapy CPT codes have been added:
- 97022 – Whirlpool (Supervised Modality)
- 97124 – Massage Therapy
- 97140 – Manual Therapy
• Each CPT code includes structured clinical prompts to document information such as the treatment area, purpose of the intervention, patient response, level of assistance, and other relevant clinical details.
• Additional questions and response options have been added to CPT code 97110, allowing for more comprehensive clinical documentation.
These enhancements improve the quality and consistency of Occupational Therapy documentation while supporting more complete treatment records.
