A new validation has been added to prevent treatment codes from starting before the scheduled appointment time.
With this update:
• The system verifies that each CPT code starts at or after the appointment start time.
• If a code begins too early, an alert identifies the affected CPT code and the time that needs to be corrected.
• The note cannot be completed until the time is updated.
• This validation applies to both Physical Therapy (PT) and Occupational Therapy (OT).
This enhancement helps keep documented treatment times aligned with the scheduled appointment.
