A new plan-based system for the Video Meetings module has been introduced, allowing companies to manage their subscription, track usage, and access features based on their selected plan.
With this update:
- A new plan selection page provides a clear comparison of monthly pricing, usage limits, and included features, with the option to subscribe or switch plans.
- Plan upgrades take effect immediately, with prorated billing based on the remaining days in the current billing cycle.
- Plan downgrades are scheduled for the end of the current billing period and can be canceled before they take effect.
- Plan fees are automatically charged against the company balance. If a payment cannot be processed, the system retries the charge and displays a pending payment notice without immediately interrupting service.
- Usage beyond the allowance included in the Free plan is billed on a per-unit basis.
- Automatic email notifications are sent for plan changes, plan price updates, and additional usage charges.
- A new usage dashboard provides visibility into participant minutes and recording minutes. It can be accessed from both the plan selection page and the Video Meetings module.
- Participant management is now available, with meeting capacity determined by the selected plan. Once the participant limit is reached, the system displays an alert and prevents additional participants from joining.
- Features such as cloud recording, AI transcription, and AI-powered meeting analysis are available based on the selected plan. For meetings held under the Free plan, the system displays the applicable feature limitations.
- An AI assistant for meeting recordings has also been added, providing AI-powered interaction with recorded meeting content.
This update provides a more flexible way to manage Video Meetings based on each company's usage, with greater visibility into consumption, participant limits, and advanced features.
