A new Hospital Notifications (ADT) Control Center has been introduced to centralize the monitoring of patient admission, discharge, and transfer events and make hospital activity easier to track from a single screen.
The system allows companies to define which patients should be monitored, adapting hospital monitoring to each company’s specific needs.
With this update:
- The new ADT Notifications Control Center centralizes hospital notifications for monitored patients.
- The top section provides a summary of new notifications today, unread notifications requiring attention, and the number of active patients currently under monitoring.
- The main list displays notifications by patient, Facility, event type, date and time, and status.
- Search and advanced filters have been added to make specific notifications easier to locate and review.
- The Control Center includes an ADT event distribution view, providing visibility into notification volume by event type.
- It also displays notifications by Facility, making it easier to identify hospital activity associated with each facility.
- The Patients Currently Hospitalized section shows monitored patients who are currently hospitalized.
- Information can be updated using Refresh to retrieve the latest available data.
Monitoring Configuration
- Configure Monitoring determines which patients will be included in hospital notification monitoring.
- The All active patients option automatically includes all active patients in the system without requiring additional criteria.
- Companies can also create specific monitoring configurations for more precise control over which patients are included.
- Each configuration can be assigned a name for easier identification.
- Manual List (Watchlist) allows users to manually select the patients they want to monitor.
- Selection criteria can also be configured based on age, insurance type, insurance company, and chronic diagnoses.
- These criteria make it possible to create different monitoring groups according to patient characteristics and company needs.
- Before saving a configuration, View Matching Patients allows users to review which patients meet the selected criteria.
- Saved changes are applied during the next monitoring update. Patients selected manually or matching the configured criteria will then be included in monitoring.
This enhancement provides a more centralized, organized, and configurable hospital monitoring workflow, allowing companies to precisely define which patients should be monitored and access the information needed for faster and more efficient follow-up from a single Control Center.
