New options have been added to simplify the search and management of pharmacies associated with a patient from the Patient Dashboard and profile.
With this update:
- Patient pharmacies are managed through a dedicated pharmacy search window, available from the Patient Dashboard.
- Pharmacies can be searched by name, phone, fax, NCPDP ID, address, city, and state.
- Results can be filtered by pharmacy characteristics, including Retail, Mail Order, 24 Hours, Controlled Substance, Long-Term Care, and Accepts Fax.
- When the window opens, an initial search is automatically performed using the patient’s city and state.
- Each result displays available services through icons. When additional characteristics are available, hovering over the information icon displays them.
- The Pharmacies card remains visible on both the Patient Dashboard and profile.
- The default pharmacy is identified with a star and can be set or unset directly from the card.
- A pharmacy can also be removed from the patient directly from the same card.
- Preferred Pharmacy has been added to the patient’s Add menu for easier access to this functionality.
This enhancement provides a centralized way to find, review, and manage patient pharmacies, while making the patient’s default pharmacy easy to identify and manage.
