Patient insurance searches have been improved to distinguish between the insurance currently in use by the patient and insurance plans the patient has had in the past.
With this update:
- A new Current Insurance filter has been added to search patients only by the insurance they currently have in use.
- The existing insurance filter has been renamed Insurance History and continues to search across all insurance plans the patient has had.
- Both filters are available in:
- Patients
- Appointments
- TCM Services
- When typing in either filter, the system suggests insurance names, making them easier to find and select.
- The insurance filter applied is included in the report generated from the list, making it clear which search criteria were used.
This enhancement provides more accurate insurance-based searches, making it easy to distinguish between a patient’s current insurance and their complete insurance history.
