Access to Accounting from the application’s top menu has been improved. Existing shortcuts now open the corresponding section of the new Accounting Dashboard directly, without requiring users to open the overview first and navigate from there.
With this update:
- Overview opens the period summary, including its cards and yearly chart.
- Income opens the transaction view already filtered by income.
- Expenses opens the transaction view filtered by expenses.
- Payroll opens the transaction view filtered by payroll.
- Bank Accounts opens the bank accounts view with the first account already open.
- Each option is displayed according to the user’s permissions. Bank Accounts is also available only when bank accounts are enabled for the company.
- While the previous Accounting version is still in use, these shortcuts continue to open the previous lists. After switching to the new version, they open the corresponding sections of the new Dashboard directly.
- The top menu may also include other company options, such as patient or insurance billing, which are not part of the Accounting Dashboard.
- Once inside the new Dashboard, the side menu allows users to move between its sections without reloading the page.
This new navigation provides faster access to the information users need and makes it easier to move between the different Accounting areas.
