The new Accounting Dashboard introduces a unified transaction view that brings together income, expenses, and payroll for the selected period, including sales automatically recorded by the system as income.
With this update:
- All, Income, Expenses, and Payrolls tabs allow users to review all transactions or focus on a specific type. Each tab displays its record count, while types with no transactions during the selected period remain disabled.
- Each transaction displays Information, Date, Type, Category, Status, and Amount. Information shows the transaction description or the corresponding worker for payroll records, along with any notes.
- Amounts are visually differentiated, with income displayed in green and outgoing amounts in red.
- A search field has been added to filter transactions by record text.
- Each transaction includes its corresponding actions. Income and expense records may include View details, Edit, and Delete, while payroll records include View details and Delete.
- View details remains available for reviewing transactions. Editing and deletion options depend on the user’s permissions and whether the record can be managed from this view.
- Sales and other transactions automatically generated by the system can be reviewed from this view, but cannot be edited from it.
- A new calendar view displays transactions by day within each month and visually distinguishes income, expenses, and payroll.
- The calendar displays the number of transactions for the month and allows navigation between months.
- Selecting a date displays its transactions with the same information and available actions as the list view.
- Calendar and List make it possible to switch between the two transaction views.
This unified view centralizes the company’s accounting transactions in one place and provides the flexibility to review them either as a list or by their distribution across the calendar.
