Diagnoses displayed in certain documents are now preserved when the service is completed, preventing later changes to the patient’s diagnoses from modifying previously completed notes.
- For services whose final document displays All Active Patient Diagnoses or Patient Primary Diagnoses, the diagnosis list is preserved when the service is completed.
- Later changes to the patient’s diagnoses no longer modify completed notes.
- Notes that were already completed retain the diagnoses they previously displayed.
- If a service is returned to pending using Reset to Pending, it retains the preserved diagnosis list.
- This same list is sent to E-Prescription when prescribing from that service.
This keeps the diagnoses documented in the service consistent with the patient information recorded when the service was completed.
