Several improvements have been made to Email Accounts, introducing clearer confirmations, more specific connection notifications, and adjustments to how IMAP-configured accounts are identified.
When deleting an email account, users must select the checkbox “I understand that the deleted email account cannot be recovered.” The Remove button remains disabled until this confirmation is selected.
After successfully connecting a Gmail account, a notification appears in Email Accounts confirming that the account has been connected.
If a Gmail or Outlook connection fails, the notification explains the reason, such as permissions not being granted or an expired connection session.
Outlook or Hotmail accounts configured using server settings and a password are identified as IMAP and can be edited through their corresponding form, without requiring a Microsoft connection.
These improvements provide clearer feedback during account connection and deletion while ensuring proper management of accounts configured through IMAP.
