Several improvements have been made to the ScriptSure integration to ensure patient information is updated correctly and complies with the formats supported by the platform.
Patient information is now updated in ScriptSure both when opening E-Prescription and when saving the patient profile, even if the user making the changes does not have a ScriptSure account.
This fix ensures that electronic prescriptions reach the pharmacy with the patient's current information, including details such as date of birth and address.
If required information is missing or ScriptSure rejects an update, a notification explains which details need to be corrected in the patient profile.
The handling of names and addresses containing accented characters or the letter ñ has been corrected to prevent characters from being lost during synchronization. For example, “José Ángel” is sent as “Jose Angel” instead of “Jos ngel”.
Data processing has been adjusted to allow patients to be created and updated in ScriptSure when their information includes:
ZIP codes containing hyphens.
Addresses that exceed the supported length.
Full state names instead of abbreviations.
Incomplete phone numbers.
These fixes improve patient data synchronization with ScriptSure, reduce formatting errors, and help ensure electronic prescriptions use the most up-to-date patient information.
