This option is fully configurable. When opening a case for a patient, it can be decided whether units will be assigned or not.
If units are assigned, the system does not allow creating notes when the patient has used all their units or if they are outside the established date range.
On the other hand, if this option is not enabled, the system assumes the patient does not require units to receive the service and allows notes to be recorded without restrictions.
