To add Work Practice supervision to a service:
- Go to Appointments → Appointment Types.
- Locate the Appointment Type you want to configure.
Under the Services column, click the services associated with the Appointment Type.
Locate the service you want to configure and click the Edit icon.
- Within the service settings, locate the Supervisors (Optional) section.
- Under Add Supervising Practice, select the Work Practice responsible for reviewing the service.
If the worker performing the review is required to sign the service, enable Sign.
- Click the + button to add the Work Practice to the supervision workflow.
- If multiple levels of review are required, you can add more than one Work Practice. When applicable, configure the system to follow the established order so the service moves through each supervision level sequentially.
- Save the service changes.
Path: Appointments → Appointment Types → Services → Edit Service → Supervisors (Optional) → Add Supervising Practice
Once configured, completed services will automatically be routed to workers who have the selected Work Practice assigned to them. If multiple workers share the same Work Practice, the service may be available to all of them. Once one worker completes the review, it will no longer remain pending for the other workers at that supervision level.
Note: If additional supervision is already configured directly at the Patient or Worker level, it is not replaced. Work Practice supervision configured within the Appointment Type acts as an intermediate review level before the service continues to the applicable supervisor.
