Improvements have been made to appointments and services to strengthen required-field validation, protect completed documentation, and keep group appointment schedules properly synchronized.
With this update:
- A service cannot be completed while required fields remain unanswered. The screen identifies the missing fields and displays a notification before the service can be completed.
- Entering only spaces in a required field is no longer considered a valid response.
- Once a service has been completed, changes submitted from a window that had remained open before completion are no longer accepted. The notification explains that the signature must be removed to reopen the service before making changes.
- When another person has saved changes, the notification now identifies when the information being saved came from changes recovered from the browser and clearly separates the Reload from Server and Overwrite options.
- Default text from a questionnaire question no longer replaces information already stored in the patient’s corresponding custom field.
- When a group appointment is rescheduled, its schedule is adjusted to match the times of the services that have already been documented.
- Group appointments that previously had a schedule different from the times recorded in their notes have also been corrected.
These improvements strengthen documentation integrity, help prevent unintended changes, and maintain greater consistency between appointments, services, and recorded information.
