Several improvements have been made to the password recovery process to provide clearer guidance, adapt messages to the interface language, and simplify requesting new recovery links when needed.
- From the login screen, the Forgot Your Password? link opens the Change Password screen, where the title, email field label, and button now appear in the selected interface language instead of always being displayed in Spanish.
- After requesting a recovery link, a four-step help guide appears below the green confirmation message, providing guidance if the user does not receive the email.
- The guide recommends verifying that the email address matches the registered account, checking spam or quarantine folders, remembering that recovery links expire and only the most recently requested link remains valid, and contacting support if the email still does not arrive.
- When a recovery link is no longer valid, the Change My Password screen explains whether the link has expired or has been replaced by a newer one, instead of displaying only a generic error message. It also provides a Request a New Linkoption.
- The password recovery email is sent in the interface language used by the person who requested it. It includes a button to change the password, information about the link's validity period, and a notice explaining that no action is required if the recipient did not request the change.
These improvements simplify account recovery, provide clearer instructions when issues occur, and maintain language consistency throughout the process.
