A new Place of Service (POS) has been added: 53 GT – CMHC/Telehealth.
When this POS is selected, the system automatically enables the Telehealth option.
The GT modifier is automatically applied to the service code.
Both the POS and the modifier are reflected in the appointment, service details, and in the billing claim.
This update ensures billing compliance and minimizes errors by standardizing the identification of services delivered via telehealth.
