The ability to assign a secondary insurance to a patient has been incorporated from the Insurance section within the patient’s profile.
With this update, it is now possible to:
• Mark an insurance as secondary when creating or editing it.
• View the secondary insurance in the corresponding section within the patient’s profile.
• Properly manage payment preference when multiple insurers exist.
For the insurance to appear as secondary, Secondary must be selected in the Beneficiary Order field when adding or editing the insurance.
This improvement allows for more accurate management of patient insurance information and facilitates proper billing configuration when more than one insurer is involved.
