Improvements were made to the management of insurance history within patient payment preferences.
With this improvement:
• Added chronological validation for insurance history records.
• Allows managing start and end dates for each registered insurance.
• Displays the “Present” status for the currently active insurance.
• When modifying the chronological sequence of the insurance history, the system will display a confirmation warning.
• Completed encounters still pending billing may be automatically reassigned to the corresponding insurance based on the registered coverage dates.
• Improves organization and control of the patient’s insurance history.
This enhancement provides greater accuracy in coverage administration and insurance assignment within Billing.
