A new Payment Processors section has been added to the company settings, allowing companies to manage the payment methods used to receive patient payments.
With this update:
- A default payment processor can be selected for patient card payments.
- Square and PayPal can be configured by entering the required account credentials.
- A built-in Square setup tutorial video is available to assist with the configuration process.
- Companies with Amexzone Pay enabled can also select it as their default processor for card payments.
- Support for Custom Payment Methods has been added.
- Each custom payment method can be configured with a name, description, and instructions for the client.
- Custom payment methods can be configured as Active and/or Visible to Client.
- Custom Payment Methods also support custom questions and file upload requests to collect additional information during the payment process.
- Custom payment methods can be edited, enabled, disabled, or removed at any time.
This enhancement centralizes payment processor and payment method management, providing greater flexibility to adapt payment workflows to each company's needs.
