New improvements have been added to the Email module to make shared mailbox collaboration easier and provide a more complete experience when viewing and managing attachments.
With this update:
- In shared mailboxes, each message that has already been read displays the profile picture of the worker who opened it.
- Hovering over the profile picture displays the worker’s name, making it easy to identify who reviewed the message.
- Attachments now open directly within the platform’s document viewer, using the same viewing experience available throughout the rest of the system.
- The viewer includes options such as zoom and download.
- Attachments can also be reviewed using the AI Assistant directly from the document viewer.
- The AI Assistant allows users to ask questions about the document’s content and keeps a conversation historyassociated with the file.
- The AI Assistant conversation history can be deleted when needed.
- When an attachment is provided only as an external download link, the viewer identifies it and informs the user that the file is hosted outside the platform.
- In these cases, the Open the download option is displayed, allowing the user to access the file directly from the specified external server.
This enhancement improves shared mailbox collaboration and centralizes attachment management, allowing users to view, download, and analyze documents within the email workflow while also properly handling files hosted on external services.
