The existing electronic signature request functionality for services has been expanded, allowing signatures to be requested not only from company workers, but also from external participants.
With this update:
- When adding a participant to a service, users can now select the External option to request a signature from a professional who is not part of the company.
- External participants can be selected from the available list, which may display information such as name, email address, license, and NPI, when applicable.
- A new external contact can also be added when needed.
- An additional message for the signer can be included with the request and will be displayed both in the communication sent and on the signature page.
- The signature link can be shared by email, SMS, or WhatsApp.
- The link can also be copied and shared through any other channel.
- External participants can open the link and complete the signature without logging in to Amexzone.
- The signature page allows the participant to:
- Draw their signature.
- Type their signature.
- Use a saved signature, when available.
- Before completing the process, the participant must accept the electronic signature consent.
- Each participant displays the status of the request, making it easy to identify whether the signature is pending or has already been completed electronically.
- Pending requests can be resent or withdrawn as needed.
- The signature block preserves the signer’s name, professional title, and license exactly as they were recorded at the time of signing.
This enhancement expands the existing electronic signature workflow by allowing external professionals to participate, making it easier to collect signatures without requiring them to have an account within the platform.
